sidebars, drop downs, footers and admin headers have disappeared?

  • I didn’t change anything, everything was working fine.. then suddenly my sidebars, drop downs, footers and admin headers all disappeared.. yikes.
    I can still access my admin controls.. just cant see access to them from the top of the page. If I scroll over where the drop down menus were.. drop downs will appear but I cant get at them.
    The space for the sidebar is still there, but the sidebar doesn’t appear….
    The footer is completely gone, or so it seems.

    I’m baffled, I tried turning off all plug ins.. didnt seem to have an effect.
    I upgraded from 3.31 to 3.41, everything worked fine briefly.. I tried to clear the cache… then no good again. Checked the quick cache plug in.. it was Off?

    Thought maybe quick cache was corrupted so I deleted it, same problem.

    As I write this I see that it’s just taking forever to load the sidebars and footers etc, but then eventually does. Everything else loads very quickly.

    So somethings not right.. any clues?

    I’m thinking to try a new version of quick cache? I really dont know…

    I may have resolved this.. it looks like the quick cache was just full up and had never been cleared… lol

    I manually emptied the cache through ftp and re-installed quick cache.. seems ok for now but i’d still like comments on this…
