Sidebars not working?

@mmesoliel: Something’s gone a bit screwy in your HTML structure, possibly when the linksynergy link was added. .sidebar.s2 is contained with .sidebar.s1 when it shouldn’t be. How was the linksynergy link added?

Thanks @stephencottontail. I’m new to wordpress and I have no idea what linksynergy is. I don’t even know what that is…I was simply deciding which layout to use and suddenly, it just appeared off.

Did you take over this website from someone else? Can you post the contents of sidebar.php to Pastebin and post the link here? You can find that file by using FTP, cPanel, or whatever file management application your host provides. It will be located at wp-content/themes/hueman/.

I just looked it up and yes you were correct! I deleted the advertiser link and the other sidebar came back. I’m not sure though, why that would happen.

What probably happened is that when the advertising link was added, whomever added it inadvertently deleted one of the closing </div> tags. Was somebody else responsible for the website before you?

Ok, I posted the link myself yesterday, not realizing that I need to include something else. I own and built the site. This by far is the trickiest part for me as I have just started learning code. I can’t always tell where a breakdown occurs. Many thanks for your help. I guess I still have a lot more work to do.
