There are two things at my page I’m working with. I’m using Cerauno with child theme.

    1) I need to translate untranslated “Read more” text, which I found has been a problem with some other users with other themes, but haven’t got that figured out. I got the Loco translate plugin because I thought if it was untranslated string, but I found no Read more string there. (And also I need to add new language when there’s no translation to the sites primary language, but I can use the secondary language till I’ll get that done). There’s also Previous post and Next post text in English in single post page. I don’t understand where does it take those English texts when the strings should already be translated.

    2) If the screen is narrowed so that the sidebars are shown below main content, both of my sidebars could fit next to each other, but the left sidebar is on the left side of the screen with blank area on the right half of the screen. And the below of that the right sidebar is on the right of the screen with blank area on the left half of the screen. How do I modify the code to get those sidebars shown below the content (where they are already) but next to each others?

I already unplugged (what’s the right term…) the Loco translate and thought to delete it, because I thought there’s no use for that. Also Jetpack is unplugged because I haven’t yet found what’s the use for that plugin. (Maybe I need to study about that plugin. I just don’t like unnecessary extra plugins hanging around.)

I’m glad that the CSS helped with the sidebar issue! ??

The Cerauno theme doesn’t have any strings with the words “Your email address isn’t published” in them.

“Your email address will not be published.” does exist in WordPress core. If you’d like to contribute translations to the core software then you can find the handbook on doing so here:

    https://make.www.ads-software.com/polyglots/handbook/

The handbook also contains a chapter on requesting a new locale, if you do decide to Karelian translations.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for all your help. I wasn’t sure what exactly that sentence was in English, because my isn’t in English, but good to know that it comes from core files. I’ll study the link you sent. It would be great if the new request could be made.

You’re welcome and best of luck. The more translators we have in the WordPress team, the better. ?? I hope you’re able to get Karelian set up as a new locale.
