Sign in during checkout [GDPR]

There is anothere issue related.

To be GDPR compliance i’ve add some custom fields. This fields are neither showed on checkout page nor my account page: so, the costumer can’t subriscribe my list even if they have checked “subscribe”

This is the debug log:

@federicocapanni the error you’re seeing is actually due to a required field in your list. I would suggest removing the required part for this list for now – but we will discuss this internally and come up with a solid plan of action for this use case in a future release.

I’ can’t! If i remove the required field from my list, i can no longer collect consent from my subscribers…. i can’t do that due to gdpr regulamentation which impose to collect consent for every user….

Anyway, this is only a part of the issue.

a)
If a costumer make an order on my website with your plugin, and he choice to sign in during checkout process, there are those issue:

1) there is no double opt-in

2) the consent are not collected by mailchimp
