Signature Not Showing In Emails

    Hello Luigi,

    Hope you’re well. Thanks for a great plugin. This being my first time using it, I’ve run into a problem. All emails I’ve tested thus far with the plugin are resulting in the signature placeholder showing instead of the signature itself.

    Could you investigate and see if a resolution would be possible? Here’s a link to a screenshot of what the delivered email looks like.

    Hello,
    I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
    When you customize the notification messages, the use of the %isgnature% placeholder is not needed. Since those are notifications sent by the website, rather than by a particular user, you can customize the signature in the body of the message itself, in the Settings pane, or directly in the template you are using for the notification email (“Template for notification emails“).

    The %signature% placeholder is intended to be used in a template when sending emails from the “Send emails” pane. In that case the placeholder will be replaced by the signature selected by the user from the dropdown list, among the ones created in the “Signature” pane.

    I hope this clarifies your doubts.

    Oh okay.

    So if I understood correctly, the signature placeholder isn’t used for system notifications but rather for manual emails sent by a specific user from the “Send emails” pane. Did I get it right?

    That is correct! ??
    It is way to allow a user to have multiple signatures and easily switch between them when writing single emails or mass emails.

    Thanks I got it now. Well, as much as I love the plugin, it’s not playing nice with other plugin I’m trying to use. But that’s off this topic, so let’s consider this issue resolved.
