I believe I also have a major problem: users (neither Admin) cannot login. The form has no action, no errors, nothing. If I try to create a topic I’m told “users registration disabled” which may be the reason for the first issue. But then wouldn’t it be possible to hide the signin page?

Have you tired to deactivate plugins and change the theme? This is definitely not wpForo problem, something stops login process or affects form submit actions.

Is it possible to disable the login from WpForo?

You can change Login and Register pages to whatever you want in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members admin page:

Also you can remove the Login Menu in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > wpForo Navigation screen:

This is the same WordPress Menu system. wpForo menu is a simple WordPress menu with own Menu Set and location. More info in doc: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/forum-menu/

I had deleted the “login” menu but it keeps being there in frontend.
However, my logins are available via a modal window and since the login page is broken anyway, I would at least need a link to open the modal. How?
