hello dear developer hello dear experts,

i am pretty new to jobmanager; – i really like it.

    question:
does the WP-jobmanager have any detailed process-management that covers the signup-process?

…especially the signup of the jobseeker needs to be controlled in some way: everybody who wants to send a resume /cvs can do that and we have a confirmation of the user:

    – it is a user with a true and valid email-adress
    – the user needs to confirm his profile-data (the user-e-mail-adress)
    – we have a good overview on the signup process.

    scenario:
Let’s just say we want to have a signup form that gathers a person’s name and email address. When they fill out and submit the form, they will be taken to another page and thanked.

An email will be sent to them letting them know they’ve signed up and that they can return to the site to add more information to their record. A private link for this purpose is provided in the email. see some examples how it is meant in the links below.

Meanwhile, the site admin receives an email notifying them of the signup, and provides them with a direct link to the new record.

    good evening,

i did some research and found some more information here:
    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-adding-recaptcha-job-submission-form/

This tutorial shows how to set it up for the job submission form:

    well that is great – but, as stated above – there are other options to do some confirmation;

Tutorial: Adding reCAPTCHA to the Job/Resume Submission Form Using a captcha can help prevent spam. One of the best solutions out there is the Google ReCaptcha – it’s free and not too intrusive during form submission. A significant number of your users can now attest they are human without having to solve a CAPTCHA. Instead with just a single click they’ll confirm they are not a robot.

    and the tutorial contnues:

Doing the Same for Resume Submissions
If you also want to add the same field to the resume submission form, just use the above code with this small addition:

    Doing the same for Applications
To add the same field to the application form added by the Applications plugin, add the above code with this small addition:

well i love to hear hear from you

    Hi there!

I have to be honest, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking here. Can you clarify the exact questions you need answers to? It’s a bit unclear to me from your posts above.

    Thanks!

    hello dear Adam

no problem – i was just wondering if we have this option in the WP-Jobmanager.

    – notification-mails to

    a. the subscriber and
    b. the site-admin

    after subsciption of a job-seeker – /(that sends in his resume/cv)

the plugin participants-database -/(see links above ) has got such a feature.

guess that wp-jobmanager has this too.

    regard this thread as resolved.

    greetings Apollo
