    After region has been added to the options screen if you update the plugin without resaving your options your emails will start to fail… without warning…

    @dev team you should make north america the default otherwise you’re going to break a lot of sites.

    I can confirm this is happening on version 1.5.12.3.

    Yep, me too, on that version as well – when you use the ‘Test Settings’ button after updating the plugin you get: Mailgun HTTP API Test Failure; status “Region has not been selected”

    Fix for me is to hit the Save Button in the settings page, which applies the USA region by default, then re-test… But I’m having to work through each and every single site we admin now in order to work around a breaking update.

    Yes, I can confirm this happening on 1.5.12.3 as well. Had to go through each site and re-save the settings.

    Me too just went through all my sites and did as above on 1.5.12.3 hope it is easy to get the word out to others who have updated to this.

    Adding to the choir – this caused quite a bit of client rage for us and sent us into damage control mode. Please patch ASAP!

    I can also confirm that the update broke our email notifications. It’s not that they were failing to send altogether, but that all HTML emails were being sent as plain text. Needless to say, I had some very confused and unhappy clients!

    The fix above worked for now, but I’m hoping this kind of bug doesn’t happen again as logging into each of my client’s sites just to click “Save Changes” on the settings screen is an unnecessary waste of time.
