simple ability to email my blog posts – please help! thank you!

  • Hi, I’ve been searching a lot for a simple ability to email my blog posts (extract) to my emails, but failed. Would you be so kind to give me this tiny piece of code so I can create this simple plugin?

    The simple thing I want:

    When a post is published email to emails (I input the emails) the following:

    email subject: Post Title
    email starts: Post Title (with link to post)
    next is: Featured Image or Any Image if possible left aligned (with link to post)
    then: article Extract (X words: I can define)

    no date, no author, nothing else – very clean
