Simple and A Good Fit For My Needs

Thanks for creating this plugin.

I was looking for a plugin that would allow me to display the birthdays of ancestors in a widget on my family history site’s footer. While there are more elaborate plugins This Day In History does most of what I want without the weight and complexity of the other options.

The one thing I would add is that it would be ideal to be able to import/export using CSV files. When migrating information from one site to another or adding a large number of dates this would be a huge time saver. For example, I have over 400 birthdays I would like to enter. It is going to take ages to add them one at a time.
