Simple and Easy

  • I just installed this plugin on my site, as jQuery Pin It Button For Images is no longer being fully updated/supported. I was loath to switch, but the idea of also being able to share to Facebook and Twitter has a growing appeal. It was extremely easy to set up. I love that the icons are centered on the image. I also checked out how it functions on mobile, and I really appreciate that with one touch on the image the sharing icons appear, and with a second touch it will take you to where the photo is linked to (if it is linked.)
    I do wish it had a few more options, such as the ability to use custom icons (I had a Pin It button already created that fit into my site’s theme.) A layer of image protection, so that images cannot be copied or downloaded would also be a nice bonus option. Overall, I am pretty impressed.
