Simple and Elegant

  • This plugin is well designed, limited in scope, and works great.

    Plugin developers should sit up and take notice. This plugin is an excellent example of how to design software. The code is well organized, the plugin easy to configure, writing a quiz is simple, and taking the quiz is intuitive.

    Now for that that list of features I would like to see added ??
    – More question types, particularly allowing user to type the answer
    – Ability to save and restore quizzes from text files
    – Ability to pull questions from a question bank
    – Ability to configure default correct and incorrect responses.
    – Ability to collapse all questions in a quiz with a mouse click.

    @mirgcire – Wow, thank you for this awesome review! I’m so glad you find SlickQuiz is meeting most of your needs.

    I’ll definitely be working on some of your feature requests in the future. And unless I’m misunderstanding – you should already be able to do the last item. When you’re editing / creating a quiz there are options to “Expand All” and “Collapse All” on the right side of the page, directly above and below the set of questions.

    Doh! That last one was staring me in the face.

    BTW, one more feature I forgot to mention:

    – Set default ranking levels on the Settings page.
