SIMPLE BLOG NEWSLETTER ???

  • Hello,

    I am a relatively new WordPress user. I would like to add a plugin to our site which:

    -> Manages a database of email subscribers to which:

    -> A simple Newsletter can be sent, which:

    -> Is only a most recent post, but:

    -> Only the first ten lines or so, with a link to the real post in our blog.

    (NOTE: IT WOULD BE NICE IF THIS PLUGIN WERE COMPATIBLE WITH 2.13 / 2.2 of WordPress.

    Could SOMEONE OUT THERE, please recommend which plugin to use?

    Sounds like a great plugin. I’ve never seen one that does what you are looking for, but I know other folks who’d love to use it.

    Some (hopefully) helpful advice for forums like this one:

    * Use more descriptive subject lines (“Looking for a newsletter plugin”)

    * Don’t capitalize whole words unless they are REALLY, REALLY IMPORTANT. Please.

    * Stick to a single question mark.

    Those are key. Less key, I’ll add that what you describe sounds very useful and straightforward, but not necessarily “simple.”

    SOMEONE OUT HERE would recommend using Subscribe2 ??

    I currently use wp-ajax-newsletter by google (https://code.google.com/p/wp-ajax-newsletter) it’ simple to use, great features, but don’t know if do the job you described.
