Because 3.0 isn’t working, we have reverted to 2.4. We are getting the error displaying beneath the list, “There was a problem with one or more of your feed IDs. Please check your shortcode settings and make sure they are correct.”

We are using the Google Calendar Events widget in the sidebar, so it’s just a list of one feed ID in the second box rather than a shortcode.

How do we correct the error?

I apologize for the inconvenience but at this time we really aren’t supporting the older version of the plugin. We will update it for important security fixes and things like that, but other than that the legacy version ( https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/legacy-google-calendar-events/ ) will remain pretty much unchanged from what it was.

If you are having issues with Simple Calendar and would like us to help out with getting you running we would be more than glad to.

    Thanks!

So this message is out of date?

It indicates that using 2.4 is the only viable option right now. Right or wrong?

I am not sure what you mean by 2.4 being the only viable option. 3.x (Simple Calendar) is definitely still available to download and use and that is where our focus will be at. We have added the legacy version for those that wish to not update or don’t like the changes, but we will not be supporting outside of major bug fixes or security patches.

Hope that helps clear it up a bit.
