Simple Captcha image not showing, but reCAPTCHA image is fine

  • Hello,

    Running Easy Captcha with WP 3.6.1. Could you shed some light as to why Simple Captcha images are not showing up (see a broken image icon)? reCAPTCHA images work fine, but we prefer the smaller, cleaner Simple Captcha. Do we require particular permissions and/or .htaccess redirection settings for particular directories?

    Hi,

    Sadly, no. But, I believe it had something to do with the plugin’s PHP accessing other directories on the server — in particular, where the CAPTCHA images are stored.

    However, I switched to using ‘reCaptcha’ in the settings…
    (See Screen Shot)

    …and this worked, as it pulls the reCAPTCHA images from an external server.
