Simple, clean, easy and stylish… and fast support!

I created my first web site 20 years ago, in 1997. It won all kinds of awards, which was nice. I’d been a graphic designer and author, academic and speaker for close to 30 years at the time. So I was tough on the fairly primitive web that was available then. Demanding, but practical.

Fast forward 20 years and it’s all WordPress… and I’m just as demanding, but practical. Gone are all the whizz-bang gimmicks of the late 90s and early 2000s, like Flash and… and… (funny how you forget the names of all those “hot” tools, right?)

Now, I’m about clean, simple, attractive, stylish and practical, but I’m getting old and I want it easier. And really reliable, prompt support.

That’s where GeneratePress and Tom Usborne come in. After years of messing with increasingly complex and idiosyncratic software, including all the top packages — themes, plugins, frameworks, etc — I wanted something that would just do the job, right out of the box. Someone recommended it to me a few weeks ago and I checked it out. I was impressed — especially by the price — and by the really sensible approach to getting results, quickly and stylishly.

Now I’m churning out sites rapidly… and I’m actually enjoying it. The couple of questions I’ve had, both technical, have been promptly and succinctly answered and easy to implement.

I’m more than satisfied. I’m thrilled. Thanks Tom for a really useful and valuable platform from which to rebuild my hundreds of personal sites and legacy sites, as well as sites for marketing consulting clients.

2017 is looking like an exciting year. ??
