Simple Cloudflare Turnstile stopped letting me log in

    HELLO!

    Several weeks ago, I installed the Simple Cloudflare Turnstile – CAPTCHA Alternative plugin, hooked it up with Cloudflare, and spam stopped appearing on all six of my sites immediately!

    But five days ago, I started having issues with logging into my sites via the login pages. It reached a point where I could not log in to any of them except through my cPanel.

    At first, I thought it was a problem with my password but eventually realized that Simple Cloudflare Turnstile was not recognizing either my username or my email address.

    The support staff at my host deleted Simple Cloudflare Turnstile from each of my sites and I had no problem logging in.

    But now the spam is back and I miss the effectiveness of Simple Cloudflare Turnstile.

    So, is this a common problem with Simple Cloudflare Turnstile and, if so, do you have any suggestions for making the plugin work properly for me?

    Hi,

    This is not a common problem with Simple Cloudflare Turnstile. I’m not sure what could have been causing this sadly.

    Were you using the latest version of the plugin and WordPress? Are you able to give the plugin another try after re-installing and see if it works again?

    Thanks for the repsonse.

    Affirmative: WordPress, GeneratePress theme, and plugins are all up to date.

    I will re-intsall Simple Cloudflare Turnstile and see what happens.

    I will keep you informed.

    I deleted Simple Cloudflare Turnstile from my blog and then installed a new version. Same problem occurred: I was unable to log in to that site.

    I deactivated all the plugins but that had no effect and I remained “locked” out. I had my host deactiavte the plugin at their end and all retunred to normalcy.

    I like Simple Cloudflare Turnstile but apparently cannot use it unless there is something you can do . . .
