Simple (?) edit to a Template file.

Just looking for a “Jump Start” here. I want to edit a template to CENTER ALIGN a couple of Short Code elements (e.g. the calendars Title Header, “Next | Previous” buttons, etc.). I’ve been reading through the documentation and help files, but they are only getting me more confused. Could someone point me in the right direction as to where/how this would be accomplished? An actual line of code would be greatly appreciated, but not necessary; just something that I could search for to get me started.
