After trying several translation tools over the past few years, I’ve finally found one that is simple and easy-to-use. It is the simple interface I envisioned for a new translation plugin I thought about creating when Codestyling Localization went offline. Luckily I didn’t have to write a new plugin, this one is exactly what I needed.

I use this plugin to fill in the gaps in .po and .mo files that users of my Store Locator Plus plugin send to me. I am now recommending this to all my users as the fastest and easiest way to generate .po and .mo files.

A note for developers and polyglot people – when you get an updated plugin or have edited source make sure you use the “sync” feature so it re-reads the source code. Otherwise the completion report can show 100% for a translation, but that refers to the last version of source that was synced. Sync after each code / plugin update to have the strings re-read and stats recalculated.

    Great work!
