Simple Facebook Connect and register

Is anyone having problems lately with getting Simple Facebook Connect to work right out of the box? I have the plugins installed on my server. I would like the simple facebook connect – register function to work on my blog/site. However, I activated all the plugins and nothing is showing up. Are their template tags I need to add to my theme? All the docs i have read seem to suggest that it should work right after installing the plugin. I couldn’t find anything specifically on where to find more information on this.
