I’m super impressed by how simple this plugin makes it to enable wepb image format in wordpress.

Each time you add an image it’s automatically converted to webp. You can also convert your existing media library in just one click.

Also there is no need to do anything with your past posts. Delivery of the right format to the right browser is 100% seamless as the images URL do not change. Webp images are saved to a separate directory under wp-content thus don’t worry about mixing up files.

This plugin is just what I needed and it reduced image sizes by 37% overall with no visual quality loss.
