Many times it happens that the banner is useful in an interval between two dates, after which it should be *manually* made invisible (I always forget it). It would be useful if the banner could automatically make itself invisible when a certain date has passed.

    Hi @islp

Thanks for submitting the feature request. This is a feature that has been requested a few times. I’ll look into incorporating it into the next major update.

    Hi @islp

This feature has been added in version 2.14.0. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Hi, @rpetersen29, first of all, thanks. Secondly, there’s a problem: the update broke the plugin and now the only thing I can read in the admin panel is:

“Always make sure you test your banner in mobile views, theme headers often change their css for mobile.”

but I can’t do anything because any setting is gone.

Incidentally, I must say the banner was visible before I updated and now I can’t remove it.

    Thanks @islp,

For some reason a few of the files i’ve created weren’t included in the commit, which caused the issue you saw. I’ve reverted part of my change so the settings should show up and the new features will also be included, v2.14.1. I’ll look into that issue and likely have a version 2.14.2 that will not have any noticeable changes. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I’ve also fixed that previous version in the repo so that issue shouldn’t be seen by people downloading past versions.

Everything should be fixed in 2.14.1, and i’ve added back my changes that caused the issue in 2.14.2 with a fix to the code repository. Please let me know if you see any further issues. And thanks for pointing out the error!
