Simple gallery

I need to create a gallery like this one https://wordpress.binnyva.com/plugin/gallifrey-plugin-demo/#5 using built in short code [gallery] I can’t find any good documentation how to do that, all I’m getting is thumbnails but no big image with caption on click. Please help.
