Simple “in-line link”

Hi

I am using the plugin in my members-only area mostly to link to documents (pdf).
Rather than listing all documents in a table view — together with the pdf-icon, number of files, size and a button, I was wondering if this plugin in cabable of just interting an in-line link; something I can place insde a text. For example:
Read the freaking manual, plese.
