Simple LightBox not working in my WordPress for testing and learning

    In a free hosting I have created a website that I will use exclusively to learn and practice WordPress. I have installed the Simple LightBox plugin, but I don’t understand why it doesn’t work, since .webp images have their _blank link.

    Environment data:

    – WordPress 6.0.2
    – Theme: Twenty Twenty Two 1.6. (Doesn’t work with Shapely 1.2.15 either)
    -PHP 7.2.
    – Cache plugins: None yet.

    I would appreciate any help.

    Hi, it appears that the issue is likely related to your HTTPS/SSL certificate configuration.

    When the link you provided is visited, browsers report the following error: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN (the certificate being used is not valid for your domain name).

    This results some files not being loaded, including those required by SLB.

    You can confirm this by temporarily disabling HTTPS/SSL on your site and see if SLB works when loaded on a non-HTTPS URL. When disabling HTTPS, make sure that the image links are using non-HTTPS URLs.

    From there, installing a SSL certificate that is configured for your domain should resolve the issue.

    Closing this ticket as the issue is not directly related to SLB, but if you are still experiencing this issue after resolving your SSL configuration, please post and updated link and I would be glad to take another look.

    In case it is an SSL problem, I cannot solve it, since it is a website that I use for testing or learning and, as such, it is hosted on a free hosting that, as I explained in https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/attempt-5-keys-exist-already-exists-the-le_acme2order-already-path/#post-16093511, does not allow the installation of this certificate.
