New to WordPress, loving your plugin.
However, it seems to do a bit more than I need, and I don’t see a way to adjust it.
My page https://northgatebaptist.church/northgate-photo-galleries/ displays thumbnails for each gallery as needed, but when a user clicks on a gallery, I just want to navigate to that Google Photos gallery, not start a slideshow or show a picture gallery over my site.
Is there an option for navigating directly to the gallery?

There isn’t. Photonic is meant to keep users on your site – by design it doesn’t take users to external websites. The whole goal is to offer your site’s end-users a holistic experience and branding.

@sayontan thanks for the quick reply. I’d like to keep users on the site as well, but I don’t like the looks of the overlay that I get when clicking on a gallery thumbnail. Is there a way to have the photo gallery itself look like the thumbnail gallery?

No, not on the overlay. The overlay is just displayed as a regular grid. I have, at various times considered adding other layout options to it, but I haven’t done it because it is a big undertaking, and you are, surprisingly, the first person to ask for it.

Understood, again thanks for the quick and clear response. Glad to know I wasn’t missing a setting somewhere.

@sayontan, just noticed another issue with the overlay. It appears to have a limit to the number of photos it will display. I have galleries with hundreds of photos, and only the first 100 or so are shown. Is there a pager I’m missing somewhere?

Yes, in the gallery builder there is an option “More” button text in overlaid popup. It shows up if you have set Show an overlaid popup panel to “Yes”. If it is not showing up, just toggle between “Yes” and “No” for Show an overlaid popup panel.

If you are using the shortcode, the shortcode attribute is photo_more, so you can say photo_more='Load More'

@sayontan, indeed those options showed up after toggling. I entered values, and now have the pager working. Perfect!
Might I suggest that you set a default for the photo_more value in a future update?
Again, thanks for a great module!
