Simple links leads to broken links

Hi…I’ve been using simple links and enjoying it. My simple links leads to my media library and links to PDFs and jpgs of articles written about my company in the media. These links all used to work, but suddenly some of them don’t. Visitors are taken to the 404 page. The url it leads to is a different url than was originally set.

Here is what happened to the original URL (you can see it’s just letters and numbers now):
https://www.orchardpeople.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/A-crop-of-worthy-gift-ideas-for-gardeners-_-Toronto-Star.pdfThis only seems to happen for stuff that’s related to simple links. Though not all of my simple links are broken suddenly – just some of them.
Can you help?
