Simple listing of best rated posts

    Hi there,

    First of all: really love your plugin! I’ve tested a lot rating plugins, and this one is the best so far. I already translated it and almost everything is exactly how I like it. Except for one thing: I want the star rating list without the second lines (saying ‘x rated out of x ratings). So I only want to display the titles (and links) and stars. How can I fix this? I’ve searched your knowledge but I couldn’t find an answer.

    Plugin uses templates based rendering, and you can change any template you want, create new templates to make them appear different to fit your needs. There is no way to include all the options in plugin settings, so templates are the best solution.

    Widget uses ‘gdrts–stars-rating–list–widget.php’ template. Copy it to your theme folder, and remove the line with the rating stars (with class = gdrts-widget-rating-stars).

    Hi Milan,

    Wow, thanks for your quick answer. It’s very clear, I almost fixed it. Only one ‘problem’: When I remove the line in the gdrts–stars-rating–list–widget.php template and I copy this template into my Child theme folder (/wp-content/themes/simplemag-child/gdrts) it doesn’t work. When I copy it to the plugin folder (/wp-content/plugins/gd-rating-system/templates), it is working. It’s not a big problem, but every time the plugin is updated, I need to change the PHP-file.

    What did I do wrong? Hope you can help me. Thanks!

    By the way, is there a way to change the color of the given stars? Now its #ffff00. But I want to change it into #ffcc0d. Thanks!

    I will check the issue with child theme, and issue the fix if needed.

    As for the colors, you have colors options in the plugin settings (Stars Rating settings panel). This is added in 1.1 version yesterday.
