Simple Local Avatars: How to get an avatar displayed on the side of a post?

Hi!

I apologize in advance for my extreme newbieness, although I greatly appreciate any help!

I want to add a sidebar on all posts & comments using the photo uploaded with Simple Local Avatar, with the username under the photo. I am using a child theme of Thematic.

How does this code look, and more importantly, exactly where do I put it?
