Simple page is showing 404, because of bad rewrite rule

I suggest that you search for a conflict with another plugin.

Indeed, this rewrite rule is explicitely removed (with some others) by Polylang by this line: https://github.com/polylang/polylang/blob/3.2.5/include/links-directory.php#L179

NB: This rewrite rule would normally be added by WordPress for the language taxonomy when the ‘language’ base is removed.

If you don’t find the source of the conflict (or can’t remove it), then you can try to select Keep /language/ in pretty permalinks in Languages > Settings > URL modifications.

Thanks for reply.

Honestly I found 2 plugins ( both are woocommerce payment gateways ) which causes this rewrite rule to appear ( after I will deactivate/activate polylang ). But I cant find the reason of conflict. That plugins have nothing to do with rewrite rules ( I checked in their sources ).

What you think they could have written in their sources that cause this conflict ?
Maybe you have some ideas …
