Simple Pie

Simple Pie was directly implemented in the WordPress core a while back. I’m not using the plugin.

The WP version appears to be the entire library included in the download, to use it directly you’ll need a few other files like autoload.php and simplepie.inc. I’ve not used it this way, but it does appear to be possible. Download the demo and see what happens?
