Simple Press Forum – no longer visible after WP update

  • Having just updated to the latest version of WP, I can now no longer see the SP Forum that was there previously.
    All the plug-in data is still available in my dashboard so it not been removed. In order not to confuse member I have since removed the page link from the nav menu because all they get is a blank page…..

    Anyone have and ideas or suggestions as to why this is happening? – Is it a WP issue or a problem with the latest SP forum revision?

    Just to add to this…. My theme selection page is no longer visible either – so I am unable to try another theme in case that is the problem!!!

    Rename the file wp-content/themes/YOURCURRENTTHEME/style.css to something else like style.xxx

    you may have to upload one of the default themes if there are no other themes.
    If that is the case, download https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentyfourteen to your computer, unzip it to it’s own directory on your computer, and upload all the files and folders within twentyfourteen directory to the wp-content/themes/twentyfourteen directory on your server.

    WordPress should then select it as the new current theme.
