Simple product listing pages with no images

I need to be able to create a page on my install that lists all products as a simple text list.

I’ve spend a TON of time rummaging through functions.php and adding custom CSS to remove all product images (with limited success) but I can’t figure out how to list all products as a text (with link) list.

I’d also like to be able to list by category and / or tag, but I’ll learn to walk before I can run!

The site is selling digital downloads so requires no images at all.

I’ve tried all kinds of variations with shortcodes but have hit a brick wall so often my forehead is getting flat ??
