Simple Product Option Not Showing

Hello,

When adding a new product, my vendors are not seeing the option for “simple product” for Product Data. There are only three options – Variable product, Grouped product, and External/affiliate product.

This is odd because as an Admin, I can see the simple product option when I try to add a product as an Admin.
