Simple setup, lots of features

This plugin does exactly what it promises. I mainly needed a simple file sharing option so that downloadable files didn’t reflect “wp-content/uploads…” in the links. I also wanted one place to store those file downloads so I don’t have to go hunting through my Media Library.

The settings and File management pages are cleanly laid out and easy to navigate. You can define extensions and custom icons to files as well, which is handy.

There are Pro features like the ability to create categories, and as my site scales I can see the need for that.
