Simple Site Access

I would like to know what people are using for simple username/password site access. Please don’t give me a search results page because I can do this myself. Larger paid or free membership sites are too big for my needs but if t his is the only option, I can go for it. What I don’t want to do is pay for it and find out it doesn’t serve my needs.

If you are using that you think will help me, please let me know.

Here is my wishlist:
1. I would like to prevent access to a site.
2. Only people I give access to can login using name and password.
3. I want administrator to create the user name and password.
4. I want administrator to set a time limit where the username and password is valid.
5. I want a login page.
