Simple Subscription

  • I have a Simple Subscription product that on occasion we would like to offer a coupon for a discount. Currently, I cannot get the AwoCoupon to discount the Simple Subscription item. I have tried different things with no luck. Can anyone provide any ideas or direction? Many thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    Not familiar with subscription products, there could be a conflict. How do I set it up to test?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply. When you setup a product, configure it as a “Simple Subscription” item. Give it a price per year. Set it to expire after one year. Publish.

    I then created an AwoCoupon to provide a 10% discount. In the cart, I applied the coupon and it gave a “coupon applied successfully” notice, but no actual discount was given. I changed the item back to a “Simple Product” and then the coupon worked fine.

    Sorry. I should have mentioned that I have both the WooCommerce “Memberships” and “Subscriptions” plugins installed.

    Ah, I see. Cannot guarantee it will work with other extensions.
