• I did not try the free version since the paid version was so small for 5 agents/moderators. I first looked through the expensive upper end programs to see what features were included. They were out of my price range and time requirements to get started. I especially compared ones that had high numbers of installs. This one was very easy to install and understand. It had all the features I needed from what I saw consistent with expensive programs. Compared to some expensive ones, it has features they don’t offer, such as can be used on multiple websites. The only things it doesn’t currently offer is coweb browsing and video chat, which freaks many customers out anyway. It does have an easy feature to send the site visitor’s browser to a particular web page on their computer, which is great for sales or helping to find the right resource. It can send files. Just have to type a forward slash to bring up pre-made answers to save time and use perfected answers. Desktop notifier works great for multi-tasking. Doesn’t affect page load speed on my sites. It just takes a button to setup so live chat feature disappears from site when no agents are logged in, so visitors don’t get disappointing off line message. Was able to install and train people/agents how to use in minutes. Can popup a chat prompt to prompt interaction even if they don’t choose to use the chat feature. They can just dismiss. Was glad to pay a little so feature will be supported for years to come rather than free ones that might disappear and lose chat history.
