Simple "visit site" problem

    Hey guys! Everything is working perfectly with my new multisite set up and domain mapping. I am using subdirectories. When I click on the links from the dashboard to “visit site” I am taken to a bluehost(my hosting service) page. I don’t want to screw with how perfect my multisite is working right now, So I’m wondering if anyone has a quick answer to fix this problems for the 2 additional sites off my main domain. P.S. of course my main domain’s “visit site” link is working just fine. Thanks!

    Where is ‘visit site’ taking you? If it’s to the mapped domain, does that work on it’s own?

    ‘visit site’ takes me to https://brookebot.com/stellaandsheri/ (which I am assuming doesn’t work anymore because of the domain mapping, I remember reading somewhere that it would “disappear” after i mapped the domain stellaandsheri.com). The mapped domain itself is working perfectly (visit stellaandsheri.com and a user would never know it’s through brookbot.com).

    Read https://ottopress.com/2010/wordpress-3-0-multisite-domain-mapping-tutorial/ and look for the section Step 3: Server info

    Make sure you set the options right.

    Yes. ‘Permanent redirect’ & ‘User domain mapping’ page are the only 2 checked. Tried other combinations just for the heck of it and nothing worked.

    How long ago did you map the domains? Google’s fast, btu you may need to ask it to re-scrape your site.

    All is well! Sorry to waste your precious time & sorry for the duplicate posts (didn’t realize they were actually the same problem)! I will try to be more patient in the future. Thank you for all your help. I truly appreciate your knowledge. I’d make you a fresh batch of cookies if I knew where to send them and I knew you’d eat them ??
