Simple with no sophistication

  • The free version is very limited and once built it is not easy to switch to another theme. If I would have known this I would have gone with a different one that offers more upfront.

    Hi Michael,

    I’m sorry to hear you found the free version of Sydney to be limited. Sydney is actually one of the more generous free themes in terms of features. Some industry publications have even said that Sydney is more like a premium theme given away for free.

    I’d be curious, actually, to hear what abilities you were looking for in the free version. Maybe they are things we could consider adding.

    Regarding switching, this isn’t really a Sydney specific issue. Switching from one theme to another is always going to require a degree of work.
