I updated the Ultimate Blocks plugin to the 2.1.2 version and I was not able to use WordPress due to the following error. I had to downgrade in maintenance mode the plugin to the previous version to restore the website. I already tried to purge cache before the update, disabling Cloudflare and other plugins but it didn’t work.

    This is the error reported:
An E_ERROR was caused at line 145 in wp-content/plugins/ultimate-blocks/src/simple_html_dom.php. Error message: Cannot declare class simple_html_dom_node, because the name is already in use

Thanks in advance for your support!

    Hi @nestx32,

    I’m really sorry about that.

This seems like a conflict with another plugin that has the same name for a class. I think we should’ve added a check for that. Our bad.

Can you please share a list of plugins you’re using right now? That would be very helpful.

We’re gonna add a check for same class name, but I want to make sure with which plugin the conflict is happening.

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Regards.

Thank you very much for the list.

We are working on it right away.

    Regards.

nestx32, I had that issue and corrected it by disabling MaxButtons, I see you also have that plugin installed.

MaxButtons checks if this library is already loaded and doesn’t try to load it the second time. It’s very likely some other plugin is not doing this and thus disturbing functionality.

@basszje , thank you very much for your input. Actually, we forgot to add the check. Our bad. We have fixed it now.

    Regards.

Thanks a lot! Sorry if I sounded a bit blunt, it showed up on my notifications and decided to respond quickly. Thanks for the quick fix.
