Simpler Permalinks

  • Hi guys,

    I don’t want to use the default hierarchical postname for the permalinks, because I might move the article to other parent (category) in the future. I want to use simpler permalinks which looks like this:

    domain.com/article/1234 or domain.com/?p=1234

    I tried the permalinks settings from WordPress but it doesn’t work. The URL becomes like this:

    domain.com/?docs=parent-slug/child-slug

    Any idea?
