• Hi,

We have installed PayPal Payments for WooCommerce. Now we have two options for checkout: PayPal and Debit or Credit Card. We have a sandbox connected to it. I have disabled ‘Log in with PayPal’ in our sandbox account so that customers don’t need to log in or create an account for PayPal when using Debit or Credit Card. However, the issue persists. We don’t want our customers to create an account or fill in additional fields during checkout.

Is there any way to allow them to input only their credit card details, like with other payment options, without filling out the Billing Address?

Is there anyway they can just submit their credit card info the same as other paypal payment plugin?

Here’s our sandbox setup. I made sure to disable ‘Login with Paypal’ for it

    Hi @jundavewamar

The other plugin you’re referring to has integrated with the advanced card processing offered by PayPal. That is why that plugin supports the card form in your screenshot.

Is there anyway they can just submit their credit card info the same as other paypal payment plugin?

No, this plugin does not support advanced card processing. If you’re looking for that functionality I suggest you use the other PayPal plugin. We may support that functionality in the future, but if it’s available to you I highly recommend Stripe over PayPal for card payments. Stripe’s card processing capabilities are more advanced than PayPal. That’s why our usual recommendation is to offer PayPal on your site, but use Stripe for all other payment methods like card processing, Apple Pay, GPay, and any local payment methods you want to offer.

    Kind Regards

    Thanks for the quick response!

I understand now. I have checkout using sandbox credit card but doesn’t seems to save the credit card info into the vault. I’ve checked the link for documentation but doesn’t seems to be working. is this something you can help?

    Hi @jundavewamar

PayPal uses something called billing agreements to represent the customer’s saved payment method. On the subscription details page, if you click the pencil icon above the billing address you will see the billing agreement ID.

    Kind Regards
