Simply center footer with CSS (after 2 hours I give up)

The .span_5 class is set to a width of 40.5%. If you increase it to 100%, then the footer will be centered. Try adding this:

#copyright .span_5 { width: 100%; }

And see what happens.

By the way if you use a grid model like that, this should be a span 16 or so (max column grid).

You’re welcome, Kendall did all the work, again I guess you’re using a bootstrap model – not sure if it col_8 or col_16 to be natively at 100% wide.
