Simply doesn't work

  • I can see the metadata lines in the source code but the pinning doesn’t produce a live tile. When pinning, I get to choose my icon image from the default ie icon or my last three featured images. As a result, I just get a pinned shortcut with the selected background color and image. I had thought that it was my lite-cache so I removed it. Still nothing. I went through the buildmypinnedsite.com construct and I couldn’t find where there is a discrepancy. Maybe it doesn’t work in 4.0

    Please provide a link to your site and I can take a look. You shouldn’t have a choice for the icon image, so it sounds like you may be using a different plugin.

    Try uploading an image in the plugin settings page. I may not have updated the docs to mention this, but having an image at least 510px square as the default is required for any live tile updating to work for some reason.

    Ultralarge png in plugin folder…check
    Setting page points to same…check
    Able to pin site and resize to large…check
    Live-tile…nope.

    It seems to work for me on your site now… try waiting a while for it to grab the data, sometimes it takes some time for them to refresh when first setting up.

    Sorry to say it doesn’t work for me on any of the three machines I have.
    On a side note, all 3, when I pin your celloexpressions.com site and switch to a large tile, show only %0, %1, and %2. Medium and wide work fine.
