Simply Statics hangs

    At this website, Simply Static hangs after few hundred items.

    When it hangs, the internet access to the website is blocked. I need to restart the server to restore the internet access to the site.

    It seems that Simply Static goes into an endless loop choking the server.

    This is Elementor website that uses carousels of images/products on some pages.

    What should I do?

    It’s most likely that is because WP-Cron isn’t set up (or disabled) on your server.
    We need a reliable cron to run the export in the background without affecting the webserver.

    Especially with Elementor and all the bundle.js files it ships with, a website can easily reach 1000+ pages/files, and this will most likely exceed your server’s runtime (with WP-Cron, this doesn’t matter).

    Your plugin updated to 3.1.7 today.

    I checked the cron settings and in the WP Toolkit the cron is not “taken over”. Should it be?
