Be careful to your PHP version

    My site was blown up by the last update too. I fully uninstalled the plugin, and tried to install it again from scratch. A fatal error occurs, here it is:

    “L’extension n’a pas pu être activée, car elle a déclenché une erreur fatale.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/xxxxxxxx/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-meta-seo/wp-meta-seo.php on line 65”

    Of course, I need to uninstall it again, and of course I will immediately use another plugin, whatever your bad reasons can be.

    Hi,

    Thanks for sharing your opinion.
    You are using PHP 5.2 which is a PHP version unsecured, very slow and deprecated since 6 years. I recommend to change your hosting company or update your hosting membership.
    If you find a plugin that is working fully and properly with PHP 5.2, keep it! it’s an inestimable relic.

    Hi,
    Yes I found two working plugins in less than one hour.
    Whatever, you are right !
    I updated my PHP to 7.1 and all is working fine now.
    Now I need to edit my review…
