    Hi

the existing symbol which overlays thumbnails – when the linked to content is MP4 video – is rather obtuse.

People who have looked at my galleries have criticized it and fail to figure out what it indicates. I think it is rather too complex a shape (detracts from the thumbnails).

is there a gif/png/svg or similar file I can find in my installation which I can custom edit?

I would like to replace it with a cleaner easier to read symbol, for my own galleries

I searched the folders for the gif of svg (also text searched ‘video’) and did not find it

    thanks

can’t be changed, but if your gallery is video only, I think you can just hide those icons

thanks for the response – for future iterations, it would be nice to include alternative symbols. I would prefer a simple play button for the thumb – a much cleaner look and one in my case which is not out of place since I have autoplay turned on. Thus the user is literally clicking play.

Although you said that the video overlay symbols on thumbs are not modifiable, I should have asked if

1/they could be turned off (I care less that my visitors can see which are videos at thumbnail level on my gallery page)

2/If there is CSS somewhere to change them from harsh black to a grey – would be less dominant on the page – would appreciate definition what points to the symbols.

    thanks a lot
