    I had very often used duplicator – with different hosters. But since today I cannot work any more with duplicator because after many trials I got no connections to database. I made another database – tried localhost and name of server. Even with same roster and same web package I had never problems but since today no works any more.

    Problem: my customer is now very angry because website is not more to see! Only link to testsite is possible. The only way would be to try with manual change in sql. But I never done this before and my developer is in holidays.

    This is worst case…

    thank your for your very fast answer…

    Of I course I read documentations.

    Now I have found out that database should be now without external reachable (Zugriff – sorry – I don’t now correct English word)..

    So I could take localhost and now is running – what a luck.

    But really: before this version of duplicator I had databases with external reachable and name of server. I have a lot of customers bei Hosteurope (hoster)…never problems as by Strato (here if websites are bigger can 60MB),,,

    I think I will ask Hosteurope whether they have made changes…

    I have the same problem, the connexion with the database failed. and I got https://snapcreek.com/duplicator/docs/faqs-tech/#faq-installer-100-q and I think I have the wrong user-name and password for the database.

    Do you know where can I check them ?
