I’ve been trying to update a post for the past three days – and EVERY time I try to update the post, add text, or a photo, it goes into “Spin” mode. The Update and publish button at the bottom the Edit Elementor page is grayed out and I see a spinning icon like it’s working, but I haven’t tried to update or save yet – I CAN’T – it’s grayed out! What is going on??? This has been happening since the last update (adding the option to use AI – WHICH I DON’T WANT!!!) Please help! I don’t want to have to completely remove everything I’ve done in Elementor!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I just tried to start a new post – I keep getting an error:

    500 – Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

I REALLY need to get this website updated – PLEASE HELP!!!!

I encountered such error before and the reason is because I have too many revisions of the post saved in WordPress. Check if you have too many revisions saved and if so, clear them and you should be able to save properly after that.

A plugin that I use to clear revisions is Litespeed cache.

    Hope this helps.

Hello, and thanks for reaching out.

Raytan12 offered a good suggestion in that it could be due to the number of post revisions and is worth looking into. However, since this began occurring right after updating Elementor, the issue could be due to a conflict with another plugin.

If you have not done so already, try deactivating all plugins, except for Elementor, and see if this resolves the issue. If it does, you will need to re-activate each plugin one-by-one, checking after each reactivation to see where the conflict occurs.

In addition, you can try creating a test post within the native WordPress editor and try to save it to see if you encounter the 500 error. If so, this is likely a server-related issue and you will need to contact your hosting provider.

    Best Regards,
